So, yesterday, we had to find something to do. After two days on the sofa relaxing after the trip to Kristiansand, getting out was a must.
So why not a drive to Drøbak. Toivo stayed home, so Stine, Christer and I drove first to Svelvik where we got the little ferry over to Hurumlandet. Over on the other side of the water, we drove on to the Oslofjord tunell. Not a huge fan of this 7,3 km long tunell that runs all the way across the width of the Oslofjord. Going down and up in that tunell is a little scary. Anyway, coming out of the tunell, its just a sharp right turn in the roundabout and ten minutes later we were in Drøbak.
Drøbak is a small town, down by the fjord, with small white houses with white picketfences. It also has a huge house by the town square called the Christmas House and its filled with christmas decorations, Santas workshop and his desk where he recieves all the christmas giftlists from kids all over the world. It felt wierd walking into this Christmas wonderland in the middle of July, inn a small town that reminds me of the south of Norway, a part of Norway called Sørlandet.
We had a great pizzalunch at Handelshuset where we met mum and dad. They came as we were leaving. We drove down to the water and visited the Drøbak Aquarium. A small aquarium, but a good one. With all the different sealife you find in the Oslofjord.

We were all tired when we were finished there, so we drove home. We skipped the little ferry and drove home through Drammen. Hungry and tired I made a big pizzadough. For my birthday in April, my sister got me the Jamie Oliver pizzastone, so it was time to test it out. Stine and I had been to the shop and bought pizzatoppings and I made a homemade pizzasaus. We baked them on the stone on the grill and they were soooo good.
